Thai Gold Restaurant: Authentic Thai Cuisine in Golden, CO

This is probably the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I went in for my birthday with zero expectations as I was visiting friends from out of state and was blown away. We all ordered different Entrees to share. We all tried a bit of each other’s, and the portions were big! We got the Pad See Ew Beef, Sweet Melody Chicken, Pineapple Curry and Cashew Chicken. Everything was so delicious! We got mango sticky rice for desert, and it was so good! Everyone working was so kind too! This is now a permanent spot for us to return to next time I visit!

Cute little spot in Golden! The honey roasted duck was delish, as was the mai tai (cocktail). I can't remember our server's name but he was from Texas (as is our group) and he was great!

Great food and great service! Easy to get seating and the food comes out fast and hot. The architecture of the building really helps to build a fun and carefree atmosphere! I eat here at least once a week and I highly recommend giving it a go if you're in golden!!

Never been to this place the entire 4 years I’ve lived in golden! The hubs took me here tonight!! Everything was really good!! From the appetizers (calamari and thom yum soup) to the main entrees. The drinks were delicious!!! I got the golden Thai mojito! 10/10. And hubs got a Long Island iced tea! Everything was awesome (Lego movie) Thanks for great food and service!! 10/10 if you haven’t been here you gotta try it!!

Great restaurant, how did we miss this for so long?! What a pleasant surprise and great experience. We stopped by for a Saturday dinner and they seated us right away and were right on spot with friendly service. We tried the steamed Goya for an appetizer, which was tasty. Also tried the Tom kah soup, which was pretty mild but FILLED with tons of chicken, which was good quality. For the mains we tried the pineapple curry, panang curry, crispy basil chicken, and pineapple fried rice. All were great! I’d highly recommend trying this little gem and we’ll be back soon!

Thai gold is a Golden CO institution for a reason. I have been coming here for years and the quality keeps on delivering. My pad see ew dish was just spicy enough and paired perfect Perfectly with the Thai tea. I know I will be back here in the future whenever I’m in Golden again

Lovely place with great ambience and pleasant decor. We loved the crispy Duck while it was a tad over done. The Tom Yum did not quite make it and felt made from a bad quality ready made soup pack. However, the Penang curry was good though it didn't quite taste authentic. The Mango Sticky rice was average as the mango wasn't the right one and the flavours didn't stand up. The staffs warmth and the Veggie Kapow made up for the negatives and we would give it another shot.

On our outing to Golden we tried Thai Gold for lunch. The green curry was wonderful with just the right amount of zing. I was worried as the server didn’t ask what level of spice we wanted and I usually like it spicy so I was very pleased! We enjoyed the dumplings and spring rolls that accompanied the green curry. Our 7 year old had no complaints about the pad Thai and neither did our toddler. We didn’t notice a kid’s menu so they got the main meal. And there were leftovers! The venue is charming with plenty outside seating as well. ***Returned here February 2026 on Golden in Golden. Was a balmy day so we opted to sit outside. Considering how busy it was we were able to get a seat quickly. Service was great. The family opted for similar options. Adults had the green curry lunch whilst kids shared Bangkok noodles which are bigger. Taste on all meals measured up to our first experience. Kids loved their fruit punch and coconut punch. Great to see standards are still high.
